The plot
Think we make good doctors?
Well we make even better spies.
These aren’t the doctors you know. Forget about the comfort of Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospitals’ walls. It’s the 1950s and the world is still reeling from the recent World War II. Things are slowly getting back to normal, but in the growing tensions between the USA and the USSR are making normalcy difficult. Both are poised for action, awaiting just one word before they take action- war. Underneath the facades, in the shadows, the war has already started. Agents are on the move, information in being exchanged and lives are being taken.
Welcome to Colmar, France, a small town with an eccentric feel. Buried in the sleepy town in the headquarters of a taskforce set up by the Unites States to combat the groing threat of Russia, its KGB agents, the mysterious ‘Horse Breaker’ and the even more mysterious 'Призрак’. Headed by Lisa Cuddy, the task force is broken into two groups, the CIA, led by James Wilson, and the NSA headed by Gregory House. Every member of this taskforce is a skilled agent, chosen for a particular talent they have. They will need these skill to combat their enemies, who are closer than the taskforce think. The KGB sect, led by Jack Wilson, burned CIA agent; and ‘The Ghost’, who is in reality the burned NSA agent Stacy Warner, have also set up shop in Colmar, ready to make life difficult for Gregory House and his associates.
Things aren’t as simple as they once seemed. This isn’t good versus evil, the USA versus the USSR. There’s more than just two sides here and the relationships inside and outside of these sides are just as complicated. So where do you fit in? Which side will you choose in House Undercover?
House Undercover is a House MD roleplay game set in an alternative universe where House and the other characters of the television show, House MD, are government spies during the red fever Cold War era of the 1950s. We have been open since April 2008 and are just coming out of a short hiatus that allowed our members times to settle into school and renew their interest. Now we’re back, better than ever and excited to get back to the dirty, violent undercover world of covert operations. We hope you’ll join us and discover just how fun it is to go undercover.

I wonder if we should remove the modern technology angle, since the person who insisted upon it is no longer with us?

I kinda like it, though. It makes things easier. But I'm down with whatever.

I don't know if it does make it easier -- I mean, are we in 1956 or 2008? What are the parameters for the technology? But I too am happy with what the majority wants.
